Driven by passion

P. T. Clement writes fiction shaped by experience, consequence, and an enduring fascination with power—how it is gained, wielded, and ultimately revealed.

A former Special Agent with the U.S. Army Criminal Investigations Command, Philip was named Soldier of the Year in 1992. He served as Personal Security Officer to Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Colin L. Powell, during Operation Desert Storm. This experience placed him in proximity to leadership, decision-making, and pressure at the highest levels—insights that are forever imbedded and continue to inform the realism and moral tension in his work.

Drawing on a background that started by proudly serving his country, he developed a passion to follow numerous other pursuits as a film producer, recording artist and global technology leader.

His writing explores his experience, which centers on the thin line between loyalty and betrayal, duty and ambition. His stories are grounded in realism, but driven by character—where individuals are forced to confront not only external threats, but the personal cost of the choices they make. His goal is to take his readers on an emotional journey, not just tell a story.

This novel represents a culmination of years of research, reflection, and most recently discipline. Written deliberately and without compromise, it resists easy answers, instead inviting readers to question motive, authority, and the unseen forces that shape outcomes long before they are understood.

Philip lives in Atlanta, GA and continues to write with the belief that the most compelling stories are those that linger—challenging the reader long after the final page and most importantly, have the reader asking for more!
